Board Approves Funding. . .
Ground Breaking. . .
Ethics Center Receives Donation. . .
Candler's building project grows out of the inadequacies in the quality and quantity of current space available for instruction, offices, student programming and library operations. Over a period of several years and in collaboration with Campus Planning, Candler has worked through a series of possibilities to address these impediments to its mission. Emory’s Center for Ethics will also be located in the new buildings.
Collins, Cooper, Carusi Architects (local architect of record), Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott (design firm), and Turner Construction (general contractor) were selected to develop and implement the plans for the new facilities.
You can get frequent updates on the progress of the building project and view pictures at the Candler Building Project Blog.
