Master of Divinity students

For those students who have been admitted to Candler's MDiv program, we invite you to experience Candler in person by attending a class, engaging with current MDiv students, worshipping with us in chapel, hearing about Candler's extensive scholarship program, and meeting some of your potential future classmates.


Friday, April 4, 2008
8:30 a.m. — 2:30 p.m.


The tentative schedule for the Master of Divinity visit day is the following:


Overnight accommodations will be provided for those visitors coming from out of town on the evening of April 3.

8:15 a.m.
Arrive at Office of Admissions and Financial Aid Bishops Hall 216
8:30-9:15 a.m. 

Coffee, Breakfast, and Conversation
Meet and greet in the morning with other MDiv prospective students and: Dr. Jan Love, Dean and Professor of Christianity and World Politics; Dr. Jonathan Strom, Associate Professor of Church History and Acting Associate Dean of Faculty and Academic Affairs; Rev. Shonda Jones, Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid; Brad Schweers and Jena Black, Admissions Advisors and Candler graduates; other Candler faculty and staff members.

9:30 -10:50 a.m.

There is a $30 registration fee required for this event. Please send your registration fee to
us as soon as possible. One guest is welcome to accompany you; we only ask that you
include an additional $30 to cover expenses.
