Scotland's John Bell to Lead Evening of Song at Candler School of Theology

john-bell.jpgThe term “church musicians” conjures images of performers: organists and guitarists playing on Sunday morning or sopranos and tenors trading solos on ambitious anthems. Diverse Slate of Scholars on Tap for Dean's Lecture Series

jennifer-graber.jpgIn Fall 2011, Candler School of Theology introduced the Dean’s Lecture Series, featuring free, monthly conversations with influential figures in history, culture, academics, and ministry. That diversity is maintained in the spring semester’s slate of speakers.

Jennifer Graber, assistant professor of religious studies at The College of Wooster, delivers her lecture, “The Search for the Christian Prison in the Early American Republic” on February 15.
