Women's Stories
The greatest joy of the Oral History Project is the women’s stories. The thirty-one women have been honest in describing their lives, sharing their good times and tragic times, days of hope and days of despair, experiences of seeming failure and self-doubt, and moments of finding strength to endure and move onward into the future. You can glimpse the women who are our oral historians in the demographic overview and directory. You can also read some samples from their life stories. We will later add clips from their stories so that people can engage them on the website.
