Candler Connection Supplemental
Candler Connection is the news and alumni magazine for Candler School of Theology's alumni, friends, and prospective students. It is printed in the early spring, late summer, and fall and distributed to a mailing list of almost 9,000 addresses. Some articles, addresses, and sermons, too long for inclusion in the printed version of Connection, may be seen here.
- April 2006: Karen Scheib, associate professor of pastoral care and counseling, served on a Roman Catholic-United Methodist dialogue team that produced a paper, "Through Divine Love: The Church in each place and all places." Serving with her was Sr. Barbara Reid of the Bible faculty at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. Dr. Reid is the fall 2005 visiting scholar at Emory's Aquinas Center. Please read the full paper

- September 18, 2002: "Howard Thurman: the Twenty-first Century and Beyond," the 2002 Howard Thurman Lecture, Program of Black Church Studies, delivered by Professor Mozella Mitchell, University of South Florida at Tampa.
- September 18, 2002: "Lives Matter," the 2002 Whiteside Lecture, delivered by Oxford College Dean Dana Greene.
- September 17, 2002: Emory Receives $10 Million For New PhD Program from Lilly Endowment Inc.

- November 19, 2001: Pitts Theology Library adds two exceptional rare books.
- November 9, 2001: Pitts Theology Library celebrated the addition of the 100,000 and 100,001 books to its Special Collections.
