There are four main ways to get to Candler and Emory from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport: Public Transportation, Taxi, Airport Shuttle, and Driving.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Atlanta's mass transit system is MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority). Exact change ($1.75) or a refillable Breeze Card is required, which can be purchased from the vending machines at the airport and in all rail stations. Coming from the airport, take any train northbound to the Lindbergh MARTA station. From the Lindberg station, take the #6-Emory bus to the Emory campus—about a twenty minute ride. Ask the bus driver to let you off in the Emory Village (intersection of North Decatur and Oxford Roads). From this stop, walk past the main Emory gate, up the hill on Dickey Drive onto the campus. Walk right on the brick walkway between the first building on your right (the Administration Building) and second building on the right (White Hall). Follow the walkway and veer left past White Hall to Bishops Hall. The Admissions Office is to the left as you enter Bishops Hall in Suite 216.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE
Reservations Only. Atlanta Airport Superior Shuttle provides shuttle service to and from the Atlanta Airport. The shuttle will drop you off and pick you up from the campus or major hotels. Reservations are required ahead of time by calling 770.457.4794 or by clicking here. At the airport, follow the signs to Ground Transportation. At the exit door you will see the taxis. Across from the taxis you will see the shuttle buses. Look for Atlanta Airport Superior Shuttle in stalls F11 and F12. The cost from the airport to campus is approximately $25 one-way ($45 round trip), with lower fares depending on your pick-up/drop-off location. Ask the driver to take you to White Hall or the Emory University Administration Building. Take the walkway between White Hall on the left and the Administration Building on the right. Follow the walkway and veer left past White Hall to Bishops Hall. The Admissions Office is to the left as you enter Bishops Hall in Suite 216.
TAXI
A taxi ride from the airport to campus will cost from $35 to $45 and will take approximately twenty-five minutes with normal traffic. Allow at least an hour's travel time during weekday rush hours—7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Ask the driver to take you to White Hall or the Administration Building at Emory University. Take the walkway between White Hall on the left and the Administration Building on the right. Follow the walkway and veer left past White Hall to Bishops Hall. The Admissions Office is to the left as you enter Bishops Hall in Suite 216.
To save on taxi fare, you can also easily take a MARTA train from the airport to Lindbergh Station, from where you can then take a taxi to Emory.
DRIVING
