Designed for individuals preparing for many forms of ministry, Candler’s MDiv integrates challenging academics and in-depth contextual learning. On campus or online/hybrid.
Candler’s MTS is a two-year degree designed for those who wish to explore theology and religion from an academic perspective. On campus.
Candler’s MRL provides leaders with the biblical, theological, historical and practical foundation critical for their work in ministry settings. On campus; select online/hybrid.
The Master of Religion and Public Life is designed for professionals in law, healthcare, social work, education and other fields whose work requires them to navigate issues of faith on a regular basis. On campus, hybrid, or fully online.
A one-year program of study beyond the Master of Divinity, the Master of Theology is for students who wish to deepen their knowledge in a particular area of study in order to enhance their vocation or ministry. On campus.
The three-year Doctor of Ministry—with a 90 percent online curriculum—allows experienced practitioners to explore the latest in theological education within the real world of everyday ministry. Online/hybrid.
Affording Seminary
Candler offers one of the strongest financial aid programs in theological education because we want to see you fulfill your call. We awarded $6.3 million in scholarships and aid in 2023-2024, with 92% of all students and 100% of MDiv students receiving assistance.
