The Scholarship Program at Candler School of Theology is among the largest of the thirteen United Methodist Seminaries. This year Candler will distribute almost $5 million in awards. Scholarships are available to students of all denominations and on average over 75 percent of eligible students receive a scholarship. Typically, the financial aid package is made up of a combination of a Candler Scholarship, Federal Student Loans, and scholarships from outside resources including churches, conferences and foundations. The Candler Office of Admissions and Financial Aid works in conjunction with the Emory University Office of Financial Aid to ensure that students are considered for as many financial aid opportunities as possible.
