Qualifications:
- declared candidate for ordination within the Northern Illinois Conference
- the applicant must establish written proof of active leadership and active membership within a local United Methodist church
- those who receive a scholarship will be expected to serve at least three years as an appointed pastor within the Northern Illinois conference
