In addition to the scholarship, loan, and work opportunities Candler School of Theology provides to eligible students, it is important to be aware of the numerous financial resources from outside agencies available to students pursuing theological education. Last year, Candler students secured nearly $1 million in outside awards. Below you will find information about organizations known to provide such funding. Brief descriptions of awards and known deadline dates and any denominational requirements are included to help you focus your search. Be sure to refer to this resource throughout the year in order to meet established deadlines, keeping in mind that these dates are usually for the next academic year.
