Living in Atlanta
For the third year in a row, Atlanta was the country's most popular place to move according to Yahoo Finance. It's easy to see why. Atlanta is a diverse city with many cultural attractions, big city perks, the world's largest aquarium, many wonderful restaurants, and a thriving cultural scene. A city punctuated by green spaces and neighborhoods (including Decatur, Virginia Highlands, Grant Park, Inman Park, Little Five Points, Medlock Park, University Heights, Midtown, Buckhead, and Sweet Auburn), each with a different personality, Atlanta offers something for everyone.
Candler students can live either on campus or off campus. Emory's on campus option is the Campus Crossings Apartments. Off campus options range from many popular local apartments (listed below or on the Executive Park Shuttle Route) to any number of houses in the neighborhoods surrounding campus and nearly all of the great communities mentioned above.

Campus Crossings at Briarcliff provides an exciting new housing opportunity for all graduate students at Emory University to live in an affordable and private community designed specifically for the needs of graduate students. All apartments are fully furnished with full-sized kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, and a private bathroom for every room in the apartment. With state-of-the-art amenities and a unique mix of comfortable and spacious floor plans along with a sustainable EarthCraft designation, Campus Crossings at Briarcliff is an exciting new addition to Emory University's campus and housing options. - Clairmont Reserve
Located across Clairmont Rd from the Emory Clairmont Campus, Clairmont Reserve offers easy access to the Emory Cliff Shuttle and the Emory Student Activity & Academic Center. - The Conservatory at Druid Hills
The Conservatory is close to the Emory Park-n-Ride shuttle location at North DeKalb Mall and the South Peachtree Creek Trail System - Highland Lake Apartments
Highland Lake offers free bike rentals to residents and a washer and dryer unit in each apartment. - Williamsburg Apartment Homes
Williamsburg Apartments have been an unofficial Candler residence for many theology students in the past, often between 30-50 students a year. - Woodland Hills Apartments
Woodland Hills offers flexible length leases from 3 to 12 months and is convenient to the Emory Park-n-Ride shuttle at North DeKalb Mall.
